Rules are meant to be broken. And while we’re huge fans of a buttery leather Air Jordan, we’re also crushing hard on the latest from the Jumpman.

Set to release March 25, the Air Jordan 3 Retro “Muslin” swaps its signature leather material in favor of a mid-cut canvas upper. Dropping in men’s sizes, the shoes feature a predominantly Muslin colorway with University Red, Cement Grey and Sail accents. This is a true lifestyle masterpiece befitting any Jordan aficionado.

These “wear anywhere” kicks pair as perfectly with basketball shorts and a jersey as they do tapered joggers and a graphic tee. Thanks to their enduring style and neutral tones, the versatility of this AJ 3 cannot be overstated.

A naturally dyed Muslin-colored upper sets the tone for this shoe, punctuated by red eyestays that complement the embroidered Jumpman suspended on the tongue. Grey suede outlines the toe and heel, also swathing the sockliner and top eyestays of the lacing system.

Sail accents offer a slightly darker take on the Air Jordan 3 Retro’s titular tone, lining the latter half of the midsole and forming the TPU heel piece. The underside of the tongue comes in University Red, matching the Air Jordan logo on the heel and Jordan branding along the outsole. Speaking of, that iconic rubber outsole mixes and matches all the colors for a retro-style take on a fresh new pair of sneakers. Although composed of canvas, the shoe’s throat still has the same signature speckles of ventilation for maximum breathability.
