Dreaming of the big and bold streetwear designs of the ’90s? Two of the era’s most iconic styles—the Instapump Fury OG and the Pump Omni Zone II—are being combined into a brand-new, must-have silhouette.
The Reebok Instapump Fury Zone “Acid Yellow/Black/Vector Red” takes all your favorite parts of the retro shoes and puts them into one throwback model.
Right away, the mesh areas across the toe, tongue and middle catches the eye. These are covered in zig-zag black and white overlays. Across the tongue, you’ll see the innovative laceless construction, with stripes crossing over. Above, you’ll see the classic black pump valve that helps you find the perfect fit. It reads “Instapump” in a white font.
The heel is wrapped in black and featured a Reebok logo that stands out nicely. The black continues along the EVA midsole, where you’ll notice a TPU insert in the middle. Under this is the rugged outsole, which is based on the original shank amp with a Reebok logo.
In the ’90s, both of these OG models were all the rage on the court. Today, you’re less likely to wear this model for your big game. Still, we think it looks fresh with more casual basketball gear, like a retro jersey. Grab a pair of black crew socks and some comfortable basketball shorts, and you’ll look street-ready.
Purple, black and white combine for a remixed retro shoe you won’t soon forget. The Reebok Instapump Fury Zone “Acid Yellow/Black/Vector Red” is hitting stores on March 18 in men’s sizes. Grab yours online or at your local Hibbett | City Gear.
The Air Jordan 7 Retro "Tennis Day" drops soon at Hibbett in men's and grade school sizing. Get release details, design highlights and styling inspiration for this iconic retro.
