Calling all college sports fans — get ready. Nike is dropping the new Pegasus 38 in a variety of popular NCAA team colors just in time for the start of football season.
First released in April 2021, the Nike Pegasus 38 is the perfect shoe for you to wear to the big game (or while training for your next race). Yes, it’s technically a running shoe, but this kick is loaded with numerous features that make it great for sitting on the sidelines. Most importantly, it’s coming out in seven of the best college football team colors.
Available in men’s sizes, the Pegasus 38 will hit the field in Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Kentucky, Ohio State, Tennessee and West Virginia styles on September 1. That means you can expect plenty of variations of red, orange, blue and yellow color combos.
Throw on the NCAA Pegasus 38 shoes with your jersey and jeans, and you’ll be ready to cheer your team to victory. The mesh upper keeps you cool, whether you’re sweating out an intense fourth quarter or working on your PR. Across the middle of the shoe is the tell-tale outlined Swoosh, which lets everyone know you’re ready to do it.
What makes this shoe different from the Pegasus 36 and 37 is the roomier toe box. It’s not as snug in the forefoot, which is great news if your feet run wide. Otherwise, you’ll notice the same React foam from previous iterations, just with a bit more added in the midsole. There’s also a hidden Zoom Air unit in the forefoot.
The 2021-2022 college football season is sure to be one to remember. Celebrate all the touchdowns and field goals with the Nike Pegasus 38 NCAA colorways. They’ll be dropping online and at your local Hibbett | City Gear on September 1 in men’s sizes in the following team colors:
