The Nike Zoom Freak 4 “Unbelievable” is a testament to just how far Giannis has come in his storied career. The Marina Blue, Barely Volt and Pink Glaze colors create a bright and happy palette that is meant to celebrate all of Giannis’ supporters. It releases in men’s sizes on September 16.

The shoe itself has three primary blocks of color: a stretch of Barely Volt at the toe, Pink Glaze on the midfoot and Marina Blue on the heel. These three bold colors are accented with a light blue midsole that cuts all the way around the shoe, as well as a squiggle of blue at the medial toe.

But perhaps the most notable accent is the large reverse Swoosh that cuts across the lateral middle. It’s a shade of pink that’s outlined in the same baby blue as the midsole. What’s really eye-catching about this feature is the quote written on it: “The one who believed would become unbelievable.” This is the tagline for Giannis’ documentary “Rise” that took a closer look at his upbringing and success.

There are a few other details that help this shoe pop. Marina Blue laces cover up the pink mesh of the tongue, which changes to Marina Blue toward the top. There, you’ll see the Giannis logo in Barely Volt.

On the medial ankle, you’ll see another Swoosh in Barely Volt. Following this to the upper heel, you’ll also notice additional branding in pink embroidery: the word “Freak” on the left shoe, and the Giannis logo on the right. Beneath this, embossed into the icy blue midsole, is Giannis’ signature.

There are a few more personal touches on the icy blue outsole. Treasured members of Giannis’ family are printed into the traction pattern, including names like Alex, Francis, Charles, Liam and May.

The Zoom Freak 4 is one of the most notable basketball shoes out there for modern gamers, so throw it on when you’re headed to the court to play pickup with your pals.
