A lot of great and exciting things happened 20 years ago. One of our favorite things? Reebok released the OG Reebok Answer IV during Allen Iverson’s MVP-award-winning season, which culminated in his leading the 76ers to the NBA Finals.

Everything you love about the OG shoe is set to return in this release. That includes the spiffy red leather overlay that transitions into contrasting white leather along the lace guard and sides. A gray flash crawls from the outsole to the quarter, emblazoned with the iconic “I3” logo in red and black. You’ll see this emblem repeated on the tongue as well, just in a light gray instead.

What makes the shoe stand out on the court or streets is the zippered shroud that conceals the lacing system beneath. No more tripping in the middle of the game! A velcro strap along the top ensures the zipper stays tight even while you’re zooming back on defense.

Flip the shoe over, and you’ll have The Answer to all your problems — literally. Iverson’s head floats on the rubber outsole, surrounded by the motto “Only the Strong Survive.” Tactical tread patterns along the rest of the red and gray surface give you grip on slick hardwood.

While the Answer IV was meant as a celebration of self-expression, according to Reebok footwear designer Xavier Jones, it’s also a hard-hitting performance shoe. A plush DMX foam midsole gives you lightweight cushioning as you bound after the ball, while a TPU bridge plate adds additional support to keep your feet safe.
