The latest release from Reebok pays tribute to all things Shaq while celebrating the 30th anniversary of the original Shaq Attaq sneaker. Beginning Friday, Sept. 23, the Reebok Shaq Attaq men’s basketball shoe rolls out in the 1992 tones — an OG “Orlando” colorway featuring a crisp blend of white, black and shiny Azure.

What goes around comes around, and this bold, retro shoe is a faithful repro of Shaq’s first signature shoe released during his rookie season. The mid cut bball kicks absolutely exude early ’90s basketball vibes with over-the-top detailing and big, bold ideas. An iconic Pump air-bladder technology, for instance, gives the wearer total control of the fit and feel of this shoe on their foot while capitalizing on Reebok’s catchy invention.

Most of the shoe comes dressed in white leather as smooth as Shaq’s moves, with aggressive black overlays that zig and zag, perhaps nodding to his unpredictable power plays. A whisper of grey runs along the Reebok branding, while Azure blue informs the overlays around the ankle, along the tongue and down the shoe’s throat, with the same baby-blue tones mixing it up at the outsole in a pebbled texture.
