A healthy heart is a happy heart, and nothing makes a heart happy like exercise. The American Heart Association has observed Move More Month every April since 2007, promoting healthy lifestyle choices with events like National Walking Day on April 1!

How to Walk the Walk

  • Take a 15-minute walk when you wake up in the morning and a 15-minute walk in the evening Monday – Friday
  • Go for a 30-minute walk with your doggo 5 days a week
  • Split your hour lunch break and enjoy 20 minutes in the sun during the workweek, and finish out your minutes with Saturday and Sunday afternoon strolls
