Aug 18, 2020

We know this year has been full of unanswered questions and unknowns, but there’s one question we CAN answer with certainty: when does the newest Reebok Question basketball shoe drop?

Just in time for daytime learning, after-school court practice or a weekend game of pickup, the Reebok Question Mid “Red Toe” colorway, featuring a Power Red and white color combo, launches in toddler, preschool, grade school kids’ and men’s sizes on August 21.

Basketball legend Allen Iverson donned a pair of the “Red Toe” Reeboks during his debut with the Philadelphia 76ers — a season in which he earned the NBA Rookie of the Year title. This year marks the 25th anniversary of Iverson’s game-winning signature sneaker. The Reebok “Red Toe” re-release closely mimics the original performance shoe, of which only 5,000 were sold publically in their initial run.

The Question Mids feature a supple, tumbled white leather upper with the line’s famous red suede toe cap. Both stylish and functional, the power combo of upper materials gives any player or sneaker fan the durability he needs for game-long, or day-long, wear.

The shoe’s mid-cut silhouette has a breathable mesh throat crisscrossed by cable laces, and Reebok letters adorn the lacing system. An EVA foam midsole combines with Reebok’s signature honeycomb-shaped Hexalite to offer the wearer cushioned comfort throughout the day. Peeking through visible windows, the red Hexalite technology bolsters the shoe’s structural integrity, while the soft foam provides a thick bed of shock absorption and energy return.

An icy-blue translucent outsole gives the shoe its superior traction, and signature features like classic Reebok vector logo branding appear on the shoe’s sides and tongue in red, outlined in blue. The heel includes a white embroidered “Q” that incorporates the vector; just below it sits Iverson’s jersey number, No. 3.

Whether you wear them as basketball sneakers, school shoes or casual kicks, this Iverson retro release is a must-have for your sneaker arsenal.
