This episode takes us to St. Louis, MO to meet filmmaker and former basketball player, Drew Brown.

What Drew Brown, aka The Film Lord, loves most about St. Louis is that everyone has a story to tell, and he is no exception. As a kid growing up in the Mound City, Drew says it seemed like playing ball was the only outlet for expressing himself. For Drew, that "ball" was basketball, but his dreams of playing on the main stage were short-lived after doctors foretold his walking with crutches by age 30 should he continue to play.

Drew decided he wanted to tell other people's stories through filmmaking. Love of cinematography was instilled in Drew from a young age as the star of home movies recorded by his father, who gifted him his first camera upon his high school graduation.

Today, Drew works with local artists, musicians, restaurants, St. Louis community organizations, and more to shine a light on the melting post that is St. Louis.
