The Christian Tresser-designed Air Max 97 has many of the same design touches. The wavy upper comes in a cow-printed nubuck that wraps around the bottom half of the shoe. You'll notice a small off-white Swoosh on the side panel.
The waves transition to solid off-white right below the eyestays and collar. These all match the laces and tongue, which includes a Nike Swoosh logo. The heel includes a splotchy cow-patterned tab with Air Max written in silver.
The oversized off-white midsole includes a transparent Air panel across the length of the sole. Then, the outsole again repeats the splotchy black and white cow motif.
Both of these casual '90s throwbacks would look great with your most cowboy-influenced gear. We're thinking straight denim and a brown leather jacket.
Get your dance MOO-ves on when you lace up the Nike Air Max 90 Futura or Nike Air Max 97 in "Cow Print." They're heading out to pasture in women's and men's sizes, respectively, on July 1, online and at your local Hibbett | City Gear.
The stakes are high with these sneakers, so if you missed your chance to grab your pair by the horns, we recommend checking out our sneaker launch calendar so you never miss another release.
