Nike Air Zoom G.T. Jump & Nike Air Zoom G.T. Cut 2 Men’s Basketball Shoes Launching 4/1

Mar 24, 2023

The Nike Air Zoom G.T. Cut 2 “Easter” men’s basketball shoe and Nike Air Zoom G.T. Jump “Easter” and “Black/White” men’s basketball shoes drops April 1 at Hibbett | City Gear.

Nike’s GT sneakers, which stands for “Greater Than,” is the brand’s attempt to design a basketball shoe that’s not part of a player’s signature line. The Zoom GT Cut is for quick changes in direction, while the Zoom GT Jump encourages vertical movement. And now, it looks like we’re getting new colorways in both designs.

Nike Air Zoom G.T. Cut 2

The Nike Zoom GT Cut 2 “Pearl Pink” looks like a tall glass of pink lemonade with a Pearl Pink upper with multicolor accents throughout. Meanwhile, the Nike Zoom GT Jump in Oxygen Purple, Coral and Chalk looks like just the kick to wear straight from the courts to Easter brunch. Finally, the Nike Zoom GT Jump in black, white and red is more traditional, but sick looking all the same. All three styles drop on April 1 in men’s sizes.

Nike Air Zoom G.T. Cut 2

The Nike Zoom GT Cut 2 has a lower cut than the two Jumps shoes. It features a patterned pale pink upper with shades of darker pink underneath. A holographic silver Swoosh soars across both the medial and lateral middle.

The laces and tongue are an even paler pink, and this clashes nicely with the shiny brown ankle collar and insole. A pink and orange ombre speckled midsole sits above a gummy pink and white outsole.

The color combinations on the Nike Zoom GT Jump in Oxygen Purple are to die for. The upper is a mix of pastel pink netting and translucent light purple overlays. Pale purple laces strap up over holographic Nike branding on the tongue.

A silvery heel insert is covered with the pale purple heel tab, which connects to the top part of the pink-speckled midsole. The rest of the midsole is a pale blue, and this sits atop a pale yellow outsole.

Though we’ve seen black, white and red combos on nearly every Nike shoe before, the Nike Zoom GT Jump still does the iconic palette justice. Black and white netting covers up the black upper, which has a red lace support strap underneath.

You’ll see the same holographic emblems on the tongue. which is black like the ankle collar. The back of the heel here is a silvery holo that features a bold black heel tab. A light blue and white speckled midsole gives way to a gummy white outsole with red and black detailing.
