Can you believe this year is the 20th anniversary of LeBron James’ partnership with Nike? Perhaps as a way to celebrate, the two have collaborated to drop an all-new silhouette with the LeBron moniker.

The Nike LeBron NXXT Gen features an all-white upper with accents of black and Metallic Silver. The cost-effective shoe was designed with the demands of the modern game in mind, meaning you’ll have the tools you need to perform just like King James on the court. It’s dropping on April 1 in men’s sizes.

Like previous LeBron models, this one also has a few nods to the GOAT’s past. They include a multi-direction traction pattern on the white outsole that’s actually in the shape of Akron, which is James’ hometown. This is intersected by a large X across the midsole of the sole.

On top of this map outsole is a matching white midsole. It cuts cleanly around the shoe without too much flair, though there is Air Zoom messaging on the medial heel.

The rest of the shoe is covered in a breathable white mesh that almost looks like lace because of the textured pattern. Breaking up this lack of color is a solid white Swoosh on the middle of both sides. This is outlined in black stitching to help it really pop, and both Swooshes connect at the heel. On the lateral side, there’s also a smaller silver Swoosh right below the main one. Also at the heel are silver XX dubraes on the pull tab.

The white tongue includes additional branding, such as King James’ signature and Nike LBJ embellishments. Even the insole of this shoe is white—though it has black NXXT branding.

These basketball shoes might be the perfect light and airy accessory for spring, though with the white construction, we’d be afraid to wear them off the court. Keep your look fresh by infusing color into these very monotone kicks. To embrace the pastels of spring, think aqua crew socks, lime green basketball shorts and a baby blue jersey.
