Power and performance converge with the Royalty TR 1, which takes some of its inspo from the construction of the Nike Metcon, long considered the gold standard in training shoes.
While exact details haven’t been released, the “Smoke Grey” edition will feature a breathable white knit upper with the balance in a grippy black TPU coating along the sides. Light Smoke Grey Swooshes appear in the TPU, with the darker grey shades dressing the sockliner and similarly grippy rubber outsole.
The laces run through diagonal slots for a low-profile look, atop a black tongue. The sock-like cut hugs the ankle in all the right spots, making for an easy-on, easy-off shoe. A black heel tab and tongue tab — with its dark grey TR1 logo — contribute to the Royalty TR 1’s ease of wear.
