The adidas Ultraboost 22 women’s running shoe drops December 9 at Hibbett | City Gear in Core Black, Magic Mauve and Crystal White colorways.

Now that winter is quickly approaching, you might need a little motivation to keep with your running goals. Don’t worry— adidas has you covered with three colorways of the all new adidas Ultraboost 22.

Generally, the annual remix of the popular Ultraboost model comes out at the start of the new year, so it looks like we’re getting an early Christmas present. Like previous iterations, the Ultraboost 22 is all about responsiveness. A Boost midsole gives you all the energy return you could ever want, while a Linear Energy Push system helps your ride feel smooth and steady. There’s even a fashionable Primeknit upper with foam around the edges so you can push yourself harder without blistering.

With the Magic Mauve colorway, you’ll get a muted lilac upper made of high-performance yarn composed of at least 50% Parley Ocean Plastic. On the midsole, there’s a darker Three Stripe plate. That same murky purple appears at the heel for added stability. A chunky white midsole gives way to a translucent, tractioned outsole.

Pops of bright salmon at the bottom of the laces, ankle and outsole give this shoe a much-needed dose of color. Finally, there’s adidas branding on the tongue and tip of the toe that blend in with the mauve colors of the shoe.

Like the name suggests, the Core Black colorway is just that—black. The monochromatic shoe has a slightly smoky Three Stripe black midsole plate, along with a textured black midsole. The only white can be found in the traction patterns on the outsole. You’ll see the same adidas branding on the tongue and toe, just in black.

The Crystal White shoe invokes white as its primary color on the upper and midsole. All of these shoes will look great with your usual running threads, whether that’s shorts, leggings, or joggers. They’re basic enough that they won’t really clash with anything, unless you’ve got a crazy wardrobe…in which case, have some fun with it!
