When the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 in “Static Black” hit shelves in June 2019, sneakerheads across the globe flocked to storefronts and online retailers to get their hands on the latest from Kayne West’s signature shoe line. The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 has dropped in 30 colorways, including Antlia, Synth, Citrin, and Lundmark, but the “Static Black” non-reflective colorway has amassed a cult following for its styling versatility.
The futuristic-looking sneaker features a re-engineered bootie made of the line’s signature Primeknit material, which yields both improved flexibility and breathability. The shoe’s upper also features see-through side stripes for added ventilation.
An integrated lacing system, colored in black and dotted with bits of reflective material, incorporates directly into the Primeknit upper for a custom-comfort, snug fit.
The translucent, ribbed midsole houses a Boost unit in the heel for simultaneous cushioning and explosive responsiveness, while a waffle iron traction pattern on the Yeezy Boost 350 V2’s outsole provides top-of-the-line traction.
A single hashed line, stitched in red, on the sneaker’s heel pull tab features the only pop of color to the otherwise blacked-out shoe.
