Meet the Air Jordan 4 “Neon”– a sneaker that pays homage to two of Tinker Hatfield’s most iconic designs. What’s different about this shoe? This Air Jordan 4 Retro borrows elements of the OG Air Max 95’s “Neon” rendition to create a true Nike heritage collaboration.
Get a pair of these super-collectible ’95 Neon Jordan 4 Retros beginning March 21. The colorway is a seamless blend of Cool Grey, Volt, Wolf Grey and Anthracite reminiscent of the ever-popular Air Max 95 running shoe. Find the sneaker in men’s, toddler, preschool and grade school kids’ sizes.
If it’s that 90s vibe you’re looking for, the power combo of the Air Max 95 and the AJ 4 Retro will have you singing this shoe’s praises. The signature upper employs layers of suede, textile and synthetic materials for lightweight support.
Each layer of suede comes in a mix of grey tones that become progressively lighter as they radiate out from the midsole. The grid mesh material at the throat and sides of the shoe adds both texture and dimension.
Along with the grey, bold color is introduced via the Volt color on the molded plastic eyestays, which contribute to the foot-hugging stability of the lacing system. Other hits of Volt appear on the tongue’s Jumpman branding, on the insole and underfoot on the outsole, while reflective accents incorporated throughout reflect the detailing of the Air Max 95.
This shoe enjoys a signature detail featured in both the Air Max and Air Jordan – the Air-Sole unit in the heel, which provides underfoot cushioning for even more comfort. The herringbone rubber outsole helps make those show-stopping moves on the dance floor even easier with durability and traction.
