Michael Jordan’s first foray into footwear, the Air Jordan 1, has captivated us all since its release in 1985. While women haven’t always had their choice of colorways, the brand has expanded the lineup in recent years, and they’re doing so again with a new pale green and white colorway.

Reminiscent of the sizzling foam you’d see on a wave just after it crashes ashore, the AJ 1 Retro High OG “Seafoam” colorway launches in women’s, preschool girls’ and toddler girls’ sizes on August 12.

A white leather upper is covered with numerous light green overlays along the toe, ankle, heel and laces. There’s also a green Swoosh through the middle, as seen on all previous iterations of the AJ 1. The lightly tumbled green adds a soft texture that contrasts nicely with the more standard white leather.

Ventilation holes along the toe box keep your feet cool while adding a visual boost. Above this, you’ll find the white laces with orange outlining—a subtle yet effective splash of color. A white midsole and green outsole complete the look – making it an awesome pick for mothers and daughters to wear together to a sporting event or while chilling at the park.

Other than the new color palette, the branding is pretty similar to previous AJ 1 Retro High OG releases. You’ll see the original Air Jordan wings logo in white on the ankle as well as a white Nike logo and Swoosh on the tongue.

Ride the latest wave of streetwear fashion with the “Seafoam AJ 1 Retro High OG”. It’s nearly a whole family affair, with kicks available in women’s, preschool girls’ and toddler girls’ sizes, dropping online and in local Hibbett | City Gear stores August 12.

How to Enter Our Jordan 1 High OG “Seafoam” Women’s Shoe Launch Raffle

First things, first: If you don’t already have the latest version of the Hibbett mobile app downloaded, do it now. You don’t want to wake up on launch day and miss out on the action because your app isn’t up to date.
