If you’re a big fan of the “Shattered Backboard” color scheme, then we have a midsummer treat for you — the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG is launching in a Shattered Backboard-inspired “Electro Orange” Electro Orange, white and black colorway for men and grade school kids’ on July 17.

The Electro Orange takes a more subdued approach on this black, orange and white canvas. Smooth black overlays outline the toe and lacing system of a predominantly white leather upper, and black laces criss-cross the sneaker’s black nylon throat and tongue. Keep the black laces, or mix up your look with the white and Electro Orange alternative laces that come with this Jordan Retro release.

The Swoosh along the sides and stamped-on Wings logo also appear in black, providing a nice contrast to the white backdrop. This AJ 1 Retro High OG features an Electro Orange ankle collar that ties neatly in with the orange outsole peeking up from the bottom of the shoe. An Air-Sole unit gets tucked into the white midsole.

Vintage Nike Air branding can be found on the tongue tag, insoles and along the rubber outsole, which comes complete with the line’s signature concentric pivot pattern at the forefoot.

Amid the sometimes sweltering summer temperatures, the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Electro Orange” is a breath of fresh air. The AJ 1 Retro “Electro Orange” colorway drops online and in stores on July 17 in men’s and grade school sizes. As one of the hottest sneaker releases of the year, pairs won’t be up for grabs for long. Want to know how to give yourself your best chance at bagging some for yourself?

First things, first: If you don’t already have the latest version of the Hibbett mobile app downloaded, do it now. You don’t want to wake up on launch day and miss out on the action because your app isn’t up to date.
