The Nike Air Jordan 11 remains an influential silhouette in the Jordan brand because of what it represents on and off the court. A supportive glossy mudguard wraps the entire upper — a consistent signature detail on the Jordan 11 Retro Low. Tonal bungee webbing lace loops add to the sneaker’s foot-hugging fit and secure lockdown. A white Phylon foam midsole with a semi-translucent rubber outsole gives the definitive basketball sneaker a clean finish.

Additional touches include branded Jumpman hits on the tongue, heel, footbed and outsole. The AJ 11 Retro Low is built with a thick insole and a full-length Air sole unit. The white EVA foam midsole supplies added support and shock absorption without added weight, and a thin carbon fiber support plate beneath the midsole runs nearly the entire length of the shoe, providing torsional support, rigidity and spring.

The kicks’ outsoles are a combination of clear gum rubber and herringbone traction insets. The solid rubber traction pods in the heel and forefoot in the clear sections improve cushioning and grip. They also increase court feel in the forefoot. The Jordan brand has consistently created sneakers that set the stage for exceptional on-court performance but also stoke the imagination.
