The Easter Bunny is delivering a day early this year. The Air Jordan 12 Retro Low “Easter” colorway launches in men’s sizes on April 3. This year’s Easter colors-inspired shoe is characterized by a clean, crisp white upper grounded by a pale, pastel blue midsole.

Eggs go bad and chocolate melts, so why not fill your basket with a Jordan retro sneaker that will stay stylish long after spring turns to summer? The AJ 12 Retro Low features a white upper akin to the snowy fur of Peter Cottontail. Smooth leather dresses the majority of the makeup, while stitched-on, tumbled leather overlays adorn the shoe’s sides.

Tinker Hatfield gleaned inspiration for the AJ 12’s design from the Japanese Rising Sun flag and the stacked-heel of a Victorian boot. The white rays emanating along the sides of the sneaker promise brighter days ahead and give way to white laces and a tumbled white leather tongue.

A soft foam midsole lands in a pastel-blue tone and contains a full-length Zoom Air unit for ultra-responsiveness and comfort. This fresh spring colorway proves that sometimes little things can make a big impact. Light blue and green color the top eyestay, while pale pink colors the curve along the arch’s medial and lateral sides.

The AJ 12’s Jumpman logo on the tongue lands in a tonal white, as does the “Two 3” spelled out on the shoe’s throat and the No. 23 on the heel. A second Jumpman insignia reaches up from the outsole toward the toe in a cool aqua tone, and the sockliner takes on a neon purple-pink ombre like that of a dyed Easter egg.

The shoe’s black heel tab coordinates with the pixelated black-and-white zigzag pattern inset into the outsole. White rubber herringbone treads adorn both the forefoot and the heel portions of the otherwise-blue outsole.
