Sneakers Release – Jordan 12 Retro Low “Superbowl LV” Colorway Dropping 2/6

You’ve got your favorite dips, chips and drinks in front of you, and your 85-inch flatscreen is all cued up for the biggest game of the year. All set to cheer on your favorite to win, you’re dressed in your team’s colors, your lucky boxers and “game day” socks, but your Superbowl ensemble is incomplete without a pair of the newest release from Jordan Brand, the Air Jordan 12 Retro Low “Super Bowl” sneaker, to complete your look. These luxe, one-of-a-kind Super Bowl-themed kicks drop the day before the big game on February 6.

Inspired by the host stadium’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers, this AJ 12 Retro features black, Varsity Red and Metallic Gold coloring. While this colorway mimics a “Reverse Flu Game” palette, its detailing and style nuances are unique enough to stand on its own.

Black material dresses the sneaker’s upper, complete the Jordan 12’s signature rising sun stitching. Those rays begin at the reptilian Varsity Red leather overlay that propels the sneaker into the next level of collectible footwear. Gold accents adorn the shoe’s sides and the lacing system, adding to the eye-catching shoe’s luxe aesthetic.

An embroidered black Jumpman logo sits on the tongue, and MJ’s jersey number “Two 3” is spelled out in Varsity Red along the shoe’s throat. No. 23 is carved out of the red heel, meeting a generously sized heel tab that reads, “Quality Inspired by the Greatest Player Ever.” Tampa’s area code, 813, also appears on the shoe.

The AJ 12 Retro’s outsole also comes in Varsity Red texturized by the Jordan line’s classic herringbone traction pattern. The sneaker’s sockliner takes a departure from the rest of the silhouette’s solid coloring, opting for a multicolored, confetti-like print for a bit of contrast.

The Jordan sneaker line is celebrating it’s 35th year in 2021, and shopping the the men’s Air Jordan 12 Retro Low “Super Bowl” colorway on February 6 is the perfect way to honor the collection’s storied history while also being part of a little history yourself as the Tampa Bay Bucs take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Superbowl LV.
