The holidays have come and gone, and a fresh start is exactly what you need in the new year. Start fresh from the feet up with the latest Retro release from Jordan Brand, the Air Jordan 13 Retro “Starfish” colorway, featuring a clean white backdrop with modern black and vibrant Starfish Orange adornments. Launching on January 16, these AJ 13s are releasing in toddler, preschool, grade school boys’ and men’s sizes.

When Tinker Hatfield designed the Air Jordan 13, he found inspiration in Michael Jordan’s stealthy moves on the court. Translating those feline-esque instincts meant giving the Jordan 13 paw-like pods along the shoe’s outsole, jewel-like holographic “cat eyes” set near the ankle and a svelte silhouette.

White tumbled leather sprinkled with circular stitching and attached with a trio of seams rests along the shoe’s sides, bisecting a white leather toe box. Breathable perforations play out along the throat of the shoe just beneath the fresh white circular laces.

The tumbled leather tongue features an orange embroidered Jumpman logo, deftly tying into the bright Starfish Orange suede that plays out along the remainder of the shoe’s upper.

The textured paw-like pods take on the same modern black as the visible sockliner, and the holographic emblem on the shoe’s sides gleams in green. Flip the shoe over for another green circular badge, a white herringbone traction pattern inset into orange rubber along an otherwise black outsole.

As 2021 begins, Jordan brand foresees sunnier days on the horizon. Put your best foot forward in the new year with the Air Jordan 13 Retro “Starfish” sneakers. Shop the toddler, preschool, grade school boys’ and men’s styles at Hibbett | City Gear on January 16.
