The Jordan 4 Retro “White/Oil Green/Dark Ash” women’s shoe drops February 9 at Hibbett | City Gear.
Jordan Brand is starting to release its Spring 2023 Air Jordan retro lineup, and one women’s exclusive stands out. The Jordan 4 Retro “Seafoam” mixes a color palette of white, Oil Green and Dark Ash that mimics the color blocking of the OG “Fire Red” colorway, but with green panels instead of red. It hits stores in women’s sizes starting February 9.
A white leather base keeps things simple and helps the accents of green and black throughout the shoe pop even more. For example, the seafoam green waffle eyelets at the forefoot and ankle are a huge focal point. These hold white laces in place over a white mesh tongue on a black background.
Tongue branding features a sewn-on white patch with a pale green Jumpman with the word “Flight” beneath in black. The pale green tongue back also features a small Air Jordan tag in white.
Pale green ankle padding continues around to the heel, which features another waffle-inspired TPU clip, but this time in black. Beneath that is a black overlay with a green Jumpman emblem. One final decorative touch here is the mesh-panel middle that’s covered with a black TPU ankle wing.
The tri-toned midsole — green at the toe and midfoot, and black and white at the heel — offers a glimpse of the tell-tale Air unit. Under that is a standard green and white rubber outsole complete with a green Jumpman on the midfoot.
The subtle, almost earthy tones of this shoe mean it’ll go great with more natural-toned fabrics. Dress them up with tan or khaki-colored shorts and a seafoam green hoodie. We could even see these pairing well with green-themed tie dye — maybe just in the socks if you’re not feeling too bold that day.
