The Jordan One Take 4 “White/Game Royal/Pink Blast/Photon Dust” men’s basketball shoe drops March 1 at Hibbett | City Gear.

Even though Valentine’s Day is over, that doesn’t mean you have to put away all of your pink until next year. Case in point, the new Jordan One Take 4 is coming out in Pink Blast, Photon Dust, Game Royal and white. This Russell Westbrook signature shoe goes all out in the rosy hues — much like the nine-time NBA All-Star goes all out on the court. Give your feet a treat when this drops in men’s sizes on March 1.

The outsole, which is inspired by the Jordan Why Not Zer0 (Westbrook’s other signature shoe), is a defining element here. The textured pink rubber nearly wraps up to the midsole in jagged lines, meaning you’ll have no problems switching directions instantaneously.

Speaking of the midsole, it’s also a jagged shape, but in smooth white. There is a beveled edge that adds some dimension to the shape, however.

Above the midsole is a semi-translucent grid layer on top of a pink and black base. This helps to mute the color a bit so the shoe isn’t too overpowering. Asymmetrical light gray eyestays lock solid black laces in place on top of a pink mesh tongue.

At the top of the tongue are some embroidered shapes in royal blue thread. You’ll see that same royal blue appear on the Jumpman on the pink insole, as well as the Jumpman on the lateral ankle.

A large light gray overlay covers most of the medial side of the shoe, but it features ventilation holes cut in the shape of Westbrook’s “W” logo. Behind this is another overlay that looks like something groovy from the ’70s. What almost looks like a pink shag carpet covers the heel. It includes an embroidered blue Jumpman as well. Beneath that, you can see the word “Jordan” printed onto the midsole.

All in all, this basketball shoe is a lot of fun and should make your next on-court game a treat. It’d look great with black crew socks and black basketball shorts. However, if you’re playing at a breast cancer benefit, turn up the volume with pink everything!
