The Jordan XXXVII “Hare” colorway drops in men’s and grade school kids’ September 29 at Hibbett | City Gear.

Thirty-seven years after the first Jordan shoe, the brand is still going strong with new releases. The AJ 37 just dropped a few weeks back, and now, it’s time to start rolling out some additional colorways.

The Jordan 37 “Hare” will help you hop ’til you drop with its bold colorway and close resemblance to the retro Air Jordan 7 “Hare.” Those were the shoes Bugs Bunny sported in a ’90s commercial with Michael Jordan, so it’s nice to see MJ still paying homage to his cartoon friends. You’ll be able to grab this shoe starting September 29 in men’s and grade school kids’ sizes.

A lightweight leno-weave material covers the majority of the upper. Beneath it on the sides, you can see the supportive exoskeleton that offers more stability. White laces cover a red tongue — and it looks like there is another red layer beneath the leno-weave as well. Red lettering on the toe reads “AJ XXXVII” on both feet.

The tongue’s top features the traditional embroidered Jumpman in purple on a background of green, green, red, black and gray jagged shapes. The tongue’s backside is black and reads “Air Jordan” in white lettering.

Red ankle padding gives way to a red insole with a black Jumpman. At the heel, the black tab has a small purple Jumpman along with His Airness’ signature in red. Moving to the white midsole, there’s a double-stacked Zoom bag at the forefoot. A translucent heel support features a purple Jumpman on the lateral side.

The bottom of the shoe is perhaps the most fun of all. It features all the decorative colors of the shoe — green, yellow, red, black and white — in fun shapes. There’s also an oversized blue Jumpman.

As far as basketball shoes go, the AJ 37 likely won’t be your go-to pick for on-court action. Instead, it’s much better suited for showing off your street style. Pair it with jeans and a zip-up hoodie for a clean look, or try neon basketball shorts with your favorite jersey to look chill.
