Sneakers Release – Lebron 18 “Los Angeles By Night” Pink/Blue/Green Men’s Basketball Shoe

From the shores of Santa Monica to the skyscrapers of downtown and the palm trees lining Sunset Blvd., L.A. is a place unlike any other, especially when the sun sets against the horizon and the city lights twinkle.

Earlier this month, Nike released a LeBron 18 “Los Angeles by Day” colorway. On November 13, sneakerheads can catch a glimpse of “Los Angeles by Night” with the Pink Prime, blue and neon green LeBron 18. These performance basketball shoes will be available in men’s sizes.

The Jason Petri-designed LeBron 18, which dropped to much fanfare earlier in the year, takes the best of previous LeBron sneakers and mashes them together to produce a masterful shoe that offers the wearer speed, force and power.

The “LA by Night” sneaker comes dressed predominantly in a Prime Pink. A combo of Battleknit and Knightposite collide for a lightweight, breathable Knitposite 2.0 upper anchored by a tonal cable system, which runs from the laces down to the midsole. Small neon yellow Swooshes appear on the shoe’s toe, while the yellow speckled throat and pressurized pink Air pocket tongue provide the perfect counterbalance to the vibrant pink upper. Blue laces nicely tie together the blue graphics that play out along the sneaker’s heel.

A large, blue translucent heel clip keeps the foot firmly in place when making power plays. Meanwhile, the shoe’s full-length Zoom Air unit works in tandem with the visible Max Air unit in the heel for major lift-offs and bouncy landings. A texturized, futuristic pink Swoosh sits toward the heel, playing off the upper. Thanks to its neoprene construction and heel tab, the shoe’s blue-patterned inner bootie allows for easy slip-on and take-off.

The upper rests atop a neon yellow and white foam midsole flecked with black. The white rubber outsole graduates to a neon green at the heel. The outsole’s diamond-like generative traction pattern reinforces speed, offering effortlessly powerful stops and starts through grueling practices and fast-paced games.
