Sneakers Release – N7 Summer 2020 Collection Venture Runner, Air Max 90 and Kyrie 6

Jun 17, 2020

This summer’s N7 collection strives to promote healing and wellness through sports and community, drawing inspiration from the Native American Medicine Wheel and native plants and wildlife.

Characterized by bright pinks, teal and green hues, florals and succulents and arrows to symbolize forward movement, the collection’s apparel and footwear represent a powerful narrative of finding strength and hope for a healthier tomorrow by connecting with the people and nature around you.

On June 21, Nike is launching three one-of-a-kind sneakers as part of the summer N7 collection.

Nike Venture Runner N7 Men’s Shoe

This sneaker is painted in a colorful floral pattern of yucca, prickly pear and aloe vera plants — each of which is revered for their natural healing qualities. Arrows accompany the flora on the N7 Venture Runner‘s upper, drawing attention to the regenerative and restorative powers of the earth and positivity.

Accented by earth-toned suedes and mesh, the retro track-shoe inspired Nike Venture Runner also features reflective materials and exposed zigzag stitching to elevate its aesthetic.

Nike Air Max 90 N7 Men’s Shoe

The classic Air Max 90 silhouette gets an N7 makeover with punctuated breaks of color in watermelon pink, lime green, earthy creams and slate grey. Together, these colors energize wearers’ every step.

Color-reveal suede overlays on the Air Max 90‘s textured upper give way to vibrancy beneath — a visual representation of how one’s life journey is constantly changing. Nike tech includes a rubber Waffle outsole pattern for a heritage look and feel, a foam midsole and a heel-located Max Air unit for cushioning.

Nike Kyrie 6 N7 Men’s Basketball Shoe

The N7 Kyrie Irving 6 sneaker takes on an all-over cream-tan base with notes of neon green, teal, peach and crimson incorporated throughout. Kyrie’s late mother was a member of the Sioux tribe, and the more vivid colors mimic those in the strip of tribal-style print along the shoe’s medial sides. That peach-crimson stripe incorporates Kyrie Irving’s all-seeing-eye logo.

A star representing his community is inspired by the long history of Lakota quilt design. The mountain stands for his Lakota name, Hela or Little Mountain—symbols of strength Kyrie carries with him on and off the court.

Nike named the fund N7 after the Native American wisdom that in everything we do, we must consider the impact of our decisions on the seventh generation. Help Nike make a difference in the future of Native American and Aboriginal communities by purchasing a pair of Nike N7 men’s shoes.
