New Balance doesn’t typically drop basketball shoes with the intensity of Jordan or adidas. But don’t sleep on these severely underhyped performance shoes. Launching November 18, the New Balance Two WXY will appear in a “Windy City” and an “Abstract” colorway. Look for both sneakers in men’s sizes.

First introduced in 2020, the TWO WXY silhouette has garnered plenty of accolades, thanks to the integration of long-lasting New Balance technologies and the brand’s unwavering commitment to engineering. Billed as a positionless sneaker, the men’s basketball shoes can set any player up for success.

Kinetic Stitch construction bolsters support along the upper,while not compromising flexibility. A data-driven traction pattern provides plenty of stick and grip, allowing for power-making plays. The midsole includes a shank plate that keeps the foot firmly in place throughout games and practices, while comfy FuelCell foam offers springy cushioning that’ll propel any player down the paint.

The “Abstract” rendition of the TWO WXY takes on beige and blue tones, while the “Windy City” New Balance basketball sneaker pays homage to Michael Jordan’s beloved city. The distinctly “Bred” colorway, employing a primarily black upper, white midsole and red outsole. Both editions cleverly integrate the “N” New Balance logo into the lacing system.
