Nike is bringing back the 90s with their latest Uptempo launching on October 2 in a “Sail” colorway. The old-school Nike shoe comes brimming with all things that made the 1990s such a cultural fashion moment — basketball shoes reigned supreme, styles were in your face, and brands ruled the day.

While the OG Uptempos rolled out in 1996, popularized by the great Scottie Pippen, this classic baller look transitions seamlessly to the streets, thanks to its enduring graffiti-style graphics and high-quality materials. Sport the sneaks with distressed denim and a graphic tee for a killer vibe.

The Sail color adds plenty of neutral to this men’s shoe, but that’s the only thing understated about it. Backed by synthetic leather, the larger-than-life “Air” branding takes center stage, while velvety leather and airy mesh give this shoe a luxe lifestyle touch.

Max Air units offer the wearer lightweight, durable cushioning perfect for pavement-pounding, clubbing or chilling with the boys.
