Sneakers Release – Nike Lebron 17 “South Beach” Kids’ Basketball Shoe

Jun 10, 2020

In 2010, NBA fans tuned into “The Decision,” an ESPN TV special featuring LeBron James. After seven seasons with the Cavs, King James decided to pack it up and move to South Beach to play with the Miami Heat. In the 75-minute broadcast, James announced his decision to sign with the Heat and ultimately played on the team from 2010 to 2014, after which he moved back to Cleveland.

On June 13, James again brings the heat with his newest sneaker colorway — the Nike LeBron 17 “South Beach.” This made-for-kids’ shoe comes in toddlerpreschool and grade school sizes, with a colorway similar to the 2010 release of the LeBron 8 “South Beach.” Light Aqua, Particle Grey and hints of Pink Foam dress this summertime kids’ sneaker

Pebbled Light Aqua in darker and lighter tones swaths the shoe’s three-quarter-height Knitposite upper, converging in a swirling marble pattern at the heel. Lightweight and breathable, the upper gives kids the freedom to pop on these sneakers and go in the supreme comfort of the sock-like fit. Particle Grey suede anoints the sneaker’s throat and heel tab, while laces and the shoe’s outsole are also outfitted in grey. Particle Grey speckles the shoe’s white midsole, while bright pink peeks through the Air-Sole unit and sits at the forefoot. Meanwhile, LeBron’s insignia resting on the tongue comes in a more delicate pink.

Soft foam pods in the forefoot, a generous Max Air unit in the heel and Zoom Air technology add springy cushioning to each step.
