The Nike LeBron XX “Christmas” colorway drops in men’s, grade school and preschool kids’ sizes December 25 at Hibbett | City Gear.
‘Tis the season to be jolly, and LeBron James knows what’s up. He’s spreading holiday cheer with a fun, seasonal drop of his signature line.
The Nike LeBron XX “Stocking Stuffer” shoe comes in shades of Green Apple, University Red, Bright Crimson and Reflect Silver — perfect for challenging Santa to a hardwood duel after he’s done delivering presents for the night. It’ll be available in men’s, grade school kids’ and preschool kids’ sizes right on December 25 — the perfect way to start your holiday morning.
The upper is covered in a green woven mesh with touches of red threading throughout. Overall, it’s about the color of the Grinch, which has led some to compare the shoe to the Nike Kobe 6 “Grinch colorway from 2010.
The lateral middle features a double-stacked Swoosh with a red, holly-branch-printed Swoosh on top of a white one. On the medial middle, there’s just a single red Swoosh with the same holly branch pattern.
You’ll see this same floral pattern on part of the midsole and outsole as well — just in a less colorful black-and-white palette. The front part of the midsole features this pattern before changing abruptly to plain white. Meanwhile, the entire outsole is covered in these branches, coated in a translucent jelly that gives the rubber a crystalline appearance. The outsole also features a LeBron dunk silhouette and King James’ signature at the midfoot.
A red XX lace dubrae sits squarely at the top of the green laces. These latch into red eyestays that are lined with green trim. Threaded into the laces is a lace lock charm that resembles either a snow globe or an igloo. The green suede tongue is covered with red holly branch outlines, along with an embedded imprint of LeBron’s signature and a red XX motif. Inside the shoe, a colorful red, black and white insole offers more imagery.
These are the perfect basketball shoes to wear if you’re heading to a holiday tournament and want to dominate. Go all out and pair them with red crew socks, green basketball shorts and an ugly Christmas to spread the festive spirit. Throw on a Santa hat for even more charm — maybe it’ll help distract your opponents so you can zoom around them to the basket.
