Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo incorporates his family’s heritage into each of his sneaker designs. But when it comes to his on-court play, “The Greek Freak” forges his legacy, thanks to his well-practiced skills.

This fall, Antetokounmpo is adding another page to his impressive history with the release of another colorway in the Nike Zoom Freak 2 line, which debuted earlier this year. Launching October 15, shop the black, Metallic Silver and Dusty Amethyst Zoom Freak 2 in preschool, grade school kids’ and men’s sizes at Hibbett | City Gear.

The Zoom Freak 2 emulates Antetokounmpo’s freakish power and speed, thanks to the leading-edge tech contained within. The tightly woven yet breathable mesh upper comes dressed in black, featuring black synthetic overlays and molded TPU pieces that stabilize the foot while allowing any player to execute The Greek Freak’s signature move, the Euro step.

A powerful combo of Zoom Air cushioning in the forefoot and a responsive foam midsole helps with runs to the basket. The lightweight outsole is split into two pieces to help reduce the shoe’s weight and improve on-court flexibility. An asymmetrical lacing system allows any player to achieve a custom, locked-in feel.

Oversized Metallic Silver Swooshes speak to Antetokounmpo’s larger-than-life persona and his unique playing style. Zoom Freak logos appear along the tongue, heel and triangle insignia. Much like the Zoom Freak 1, the 2 also incorporates familial elements, like his family’s names and the “I Am My Father’s Legacy” slogan, throughout.

The Dusty Amethyst tone plays out along the split outsole, with its swirling concentric pivot pattern at the forefoot and a graffiti-style traction pattern at the heel area.
