If you’re familiar with sneaker culture at all, you probably know that Allen Iverson is “The Answer” to the Reebok Question sneakers. After all, the first Reebok Question was released in ’96 specifically for the Philadelphia 76ers player. Now, several decades on, this shoe remains a fan favorite, and its colorways often pay tribute to Iverson.

Just in time for the holidays, the Reebok brand rolls out the Question Mid in another 76ers rendition, featuring black, white and red. The “Street Sleigh” colorway, which drops on December 15, will be released in toddler, preschool, grade school and men’s sizes. With a large swath of red patent leather characterizing these shoes, this holiday release feels festive for the season.

Black leather dresses the shoe’s mid cut upper, with a black mesh throat and black cable laces that call to mind a classic ’90s basketball sneaker. The Reebok Question relies on a balance of EVA foam in the midsole and signature Hexalite technology for absolute comfort.

This powerful combo of lightweight cushioning offers more energy return and shock absorption than traditional cushioning systems. The Hexalite’s honeycomb shape fortifies the shoe’s structural integrity. A thick black rubber outsole reduces abrasion and enhances traction to help make those crossover dribbles down the court feel effortless.

The Reebok logo appears in red and black on the tongue, while a white embroidered logo sits on the shoe’s sides. Iverson’s No. 3 appears at the bottom of the heel. In addition to its undulating traction pattern, the black outsole also features Reebok branding and a Hexalite-visible window framed in red. 

While the black gives this shoe a gravitas befitting the heat of the game, the red patent leather that outlines the upper, caps the toe and coats the midsole adds flair in spades.
