Dallas showed up in a big way for the Hibbett Showdown, an epic community celebration tied to the launch of the Dallas Superstar - a sneaker that blends adidas heritage with local Texas flavor.

This limited-edition release, created with input from Hibbett’s buying team, stays true to the iconic Superstar design while layering in Dallas-inspired details. With only 1,320 pairs available, it’s a drop that speaks to both sneaker culture and local pride.

To mark the launch, Hibbett threw down a family-friendly takeover at the Dallas store near Fair Park. On September 20th, fans lined up to experience the Dallas Superstar firsthand while enjoying a day packed with Texas-themed fun.

The parking lot was buzzing with energy as Dallas came out to celebrate. Guests laced up sneakers, grabbed their pairs in-store, and joined in on the festivities. Custom cowboy hats, bolo ties, ring toss, hoops competitions, and plenty of giveaways. A live DJ kept the vibe high while families snapped photos at themed stations, turning the launch into a true community celebration.

The highlight? A mechanical bull ride that had the crowd laughing, cheering, and competing to see who could hang on the longest. From sneakerheads to families, everyone had a chance to play, win prizes, and soak up the Dallas spirit.

It wasn’t just about sneakers, it was about community, creativity, and culture coming together.

The Dallas Superstar is available now at select Hibbett locations across Dallas/Ft. Worth and online while supplies last. With only 1,320 pairs in circulation, these kicks won’t last long, so if you’re looking to add this bold, hometown-inspired design to your rotation, don’t sleep on it.
