What’s better than love and rainbows? Not much! The power of love is the inspiration behind the latest adidas Ultraboost 5.0 DNA colorway. In honor of Pride Month, the “Love Unites” Ultraboost 5.0 DNA releases as part of adidas’ Pride collection, a pack of products that supports showcasing your true colors on and off the track.
The Pride Ultraboost, along with adidas’ “Love Unites” Forum Low, hits Hibbett | City Gear stores and virtual shelves on June 1 in men’s sizes.
A spattering of colors highlights the performance running shoe’s mesh Primeblue upper. What special about Primeblue? This high-performance material is made of recycled ocean plastic. Of the 50% textile upper, 75% of it is made using Primeblue yarn. Plus, there’s a Continental Rubber outsole that’s also made of recycled goods. So not only are you supporting the LGBTQIA+ community with these shoes, but you’re also supporting a more sustainable world.
In vibrant splashes throughout the rainbow color blocking, you’ll find yellow across the toe cap, red around the toe box, blue across the laces and middle, green on the tongue and orange along the ankle and heel. The white midsole and outsole create cohesion across this medley of hues. And to make the message loud and clear, a “Love Unites” tag is front and center on the tongue, heel tab and insole.
The adidas Ultraboost 5.0 DNA is the fifth iteration in the popular Ultraboost line. It originally debuted in 2018 to much acclaim and remains popular today. Runners love how it combines adidas’ three signature technologies — Primeknit, Boost and Torsion — all into one lightweight and versatile sneaker. This current version is just 11.6 ounces, so it’ll feel light and airy with every stride.
