The Jordan 11 Retro Low “Pure Violet” colorway drops in women’s, preschool and toddler girls’ sizes April 28 at Hibbett | City Gear.

It’s pretty typical to see new colorways of the Air Jordan 11 every spring, and this year is no exception. Now, the Tinker Hatfield design originally inspired by exotic cars is coming in a women’s-exclusive colorway.

The Jordan Retro 11 Low “Pure Violet” channels all the pastel vibes of the season. A Pure Violet leather overlay covers the traditional white mesh upper, wrapping around the entire bottom of the shoe from the toe to the heel. Otherwise, the shoe is mostly white, including the laces, lace straps, ankle padding, insole and tongue. There’s even white-on-white Jordan lace branding, with a tag featuring the Jumpman himself.

At the heel, another small lavender embroidered Jumpman flies across the patent leather. Beneath the wave of purple that flows across the shoe is a white midsole. And below that, a slightly translucent Pure Violet outsole matches the upper.

While the traction pattern comes in a more opaque Pure Violet, it’s really not meant to give you the grip you need to excel on the court. Even MJ would agree, considering he took a major spill on the hardwood when wearing the AJ XI in the 1996 playoffs.

All in all, these kicks look and feel light and bright—just like the spring season. We’d recommend pairing them with other pastel colors to invoke a floral feel. Think light green, yellow or pink joggers—or if the weather permits, high-waisted shorts. Throw on a cropped pastel hoodie, and you’ll be set.

The Jordan Retro 11 Low “Pure Violet” is a fun find for the ladies, who often don’t have a ton of colorways available.
