The Nike Air Max 90 “Air Sprung” colorway arrives in men’s, grade school, preschool and toddler sizes starting April 28 at Hibbett | City Gear.

Spring is a time of rebirth and creation—and Nike isn’t letting that inspiration go to waste. The brand is dropping an all-new Air Sprung collection featuring colorful versions of some of its favorite shoes—including the Air Max 90.

The Air Max 90 “Air Sprung” colorway is a combination of bright colors that feel like flowers blooming in your garden. As the newest iteration on the original Tinker Hatfield design, the “Air Sprung” Air Max 90 sticks with a traditional white base that is modified with numerous overlays. Wrapping the toe and outlining the laces is a dark gray panel that looks to be of tumbled leather. A slightly lighter gray textile patch cuts across the middle of the shoe, just above the midsole. At the ankle, there’s a small peek-a-boo patch of blue cut out with the titular name “air sprung.”

Along the middle, a classic yellow Swoosh declares your Nike pride. Holding the laces in place are blue and red eyestays. These contrast nicely with light turquoise ankle padding and insole, which also features a cute yellow butterfly design on the left sole to show you’re in-touch with your environmental side. The right sole features the Nike pinwheel, meaning this shoe is at least made partly of recycled or sustainable materials.

Black and orange Nike branding stands out on a white tongue tab, as does another blue overlay on the heel featuring a black and yellow caterpillar. You’ll see the visible Air unit in the heel of the white midsole, which is outlined with the same light turquoise color as the ankle. Beneath this, a speckled dark gray, yellow and red outsole gives you just the right amount of traction for playing it cool.

While the Max Air unit was originally for running, today, we think it’d look best paired with your everyday casual look. Since spring is here, pair it with some equally bright shorts and a pastel T-shirt. Throw on a ballcap to complete your chill day on the town.
