The “Black Cat” is back, this time with a juicy twist. Girls of all ages can enjoy the stealthy, sure-footed style of this fresh-picked staple bursting with midsummer sweetness.

The latest Air Jordan 13 Low Retro colorway is a “Very Berry” palette also featuring black and white tones. And beginning July 8, the shoes will be available at Hibbett | City Gear for toddler, preschool and grade school girls.

This low-cut lifestyle shoe takes a spin on the traditional “Bred” color-blocking. Dressed in a berry-stained red hue, the triple-stitched, tumbled leather overlays call to mind plump strawberries piled high in a pail, a smear of raspberry jam in a picnic sandwich and slower days rife with childhood adventures.

Smooth black leather composes the shoe’s base, with black suede beginning at the sneaker’s sides and wrapping the heel. A perforated black leather tongue gives any kid the ventilation they need on those sweltering summer afternoons.

Set against a black midsole, textured white paw-like pods speak to Michael Jordan’s “Black Cat” moniker upon which these sneakers were modeled. Resilient cushioning comes by way of heel and forefoot Zoom units, while plush collar cushioning lands in shiny black satin. The lateral side of the ankle features an embossed Very Berry Jumpman. White herringbone inlays form the shoe’s traction pattern, perfect for all of those warm-season outings.
