It was March 28, 1990 — the Chicago Bulls played the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs’ point guard Mark Price scored 31 points that game, and the Bulls’ star player? Well, that was the game Michael Jordan scored (yet another) career-high. He sank bucket after bucket. In the end, Jordan scored a whopping 69 points, leading his team to victory.

Long after MJ officially stepped off the court and hung up his jersey, the Jumpman brand and His Airness’ legend both live on. The black PU midsole contrasts nicely with the rest of this package, masterfully incorporating the Fire Red jagged edge reminiscent of a World War II combat aircraft. The encapsulated Air-Sole units, including the visible Air in the heel, add to the shoe’s cushioned comfort.
