The Nike KD15 “Producer Series” Multicolor men’s basketball shoes launch August 17 and August 26 at Hibbett | City Gear.
Small forward Kevin Durant might be best known for his on-court dominance with the Brooklyn Nets. However, it’s clear he has an interest in music as well, since he released a song with LeBron James back in 2020. Now, he’s moving full-steam ahead with his extracurricular passion by teaming up with two separate hip-hop producers to create fun colorways of his signature shoe.
The Nike KD 15 x Boi-1da shoes and Nike KD 15 x 9th Wonder shoes both showcase the unique vibes of each producer. Both are dropping in men’s sizes, but on different dates: the Boi-1da collab drops on Aug. 17, while the 9th Wonder collab hits stores on Aug. 26.
The Boi-1da KD 15 starts with a layered black mesh that has touches of neon yellow, pink and orange woven throughout. Black TPU wings on the medial and lateral middle surround an ombre yellow and pink Swoosh.
Black and yellow laces strap up through neon yellow grommets. On the black tongue, you’ll see KD’s logo in neon yellow on the left shoe. The right shoe has Boi-1da’s signature in an orange scrawl.
A bright pink tongue backing and insole add a few more colorful touches, as does the orange heel tab. Additional branding on the heel reads “86 BPM” in yellow. A gray midsole and black outsole finish off the shoe.
The 9th Wonder KD 15, on the other hand, features a multi-tonal gray mesh upper. The TPU wings here are a pale, glow-in-the-dark green on the left shoe and a bright orange on the right. The left one features an orange Swoosh inside, while the right one comes with a pale green Swoosh.
On this shoe, the gray tongue is covered with gray laces. There’s also a pale green KD logo on the left shoe, along with 9th Wonder’s signature on the right.
Royal lines the tongue and pops on the midsole. But perhaps this shoe’s most fun feature is the blue multichrome accent inside the midsole marking the Air Zoom cushioning. A pale green outsole adds a final touch.
Both of these shoes will look best with your basketball threads as you take the court. Dress them up with black or neon crew socks, as well as some gray b-ball shorts, and you’ll be ready for whatever action comes your way.March down the court to your own beat when you channel Durant’s athletic prowess in these two new KD 15 colorways. The Nike KD 15 x Boi-1da shoes drop in men’s sizes on August 17, while the Nike KD 15 x 9th Wonder shoes drop in men’s sizes on August 26. Catch them both online or at your local Hibbett | City Gear.
