We’re always on the edge of our seats waiting to see what Kyrie Irving is up to next. Whether it’s a new sneaker collab or his on-court ball handling, Uncle Drew always shows off his style.
Irving’s making his next move on November 23 as he drops his seventh signature basketball shoe, Nike Kyrie 7, in a textured, visually dynamic black, white and red colorway, featuring hints of icy blue and grey. Find the sneakers in toddler, PreK, grade school and men’s sizes online and in-stores at Hibbett | City Gear.
The Kyrie 7’s black mesh upper exposes white undertones in a textured pattern, creating a close, comfortable fit complete with structural overlays for stability.
Where the Kyrie 6 capitalized on an oversized midfoot TPU strap, this next generation ditches that feature in favor of more streamlined TPU “fingers.” These serve as part of the basketball sneaker’s lacing system and effectively lock down the forefoot during vigorous play. A grand Nike Swoosh is outlined in white along the Kyrie 7’s sides, serving as a striking counterbalance to the black mesh.
A padded tongue and heel offer a thinner profile than previous iterations while still providing a solid balance of comfort and flexibility. A molded Kyrie Irving logo blends several colors for an eye-catching focal point on the tongue. A subtle, all-seeing-eye logo plays out at the bottom of the laces; the same logo appears in white on the heel piece.
These mid-cut kicks are designed to perform, thanks to enhanced technical features like the large forefoot Air Zoom Turbo unit, which bends in multiple directions. This allows for fast, responsive plays and optimal energy return. The futuristic white outsole includes a computer-generated traction pattern for quick cuts in all directions. The outsole pattern continues up the shoe’s sidewall at the inner foot for additional durability.
This November, lace up a pair of the Kyrie Irving basketball shoes in toddler, preschool, grade school boys’ and men’s sizes. The Kyrie 7s will drop on November 23, online and in-stores at Hibbett | City Gear.
