Better late than never, right? While the latest LeBron colorway was slated to drop just in time for Valentine’s Day, ongoing supply chain woes delayed this Cupid-laden release until June.

What better way to step into summer than with a pair of the Nike LeBron 19 sneakers in a “Valentine’s Day” or “Love Letter” theme? Offered in men’s sizes beginning June 18, the multicolor LeBron 19s come in shades of neon pink, seafoam green, purple, white, coral and pastel yellow, with marbled multicolored shades appearing on the outsole.

Woven materials compose the Nike basketball shoe’s upper, with a white translucent layer creating the outer skin and bright pink string-like bands partially concealed just beneath, creating lockdown at the lacing system. Pale green rubber wraps around the toe, complete with a King James crown at the center, arching up and providing eyestays for the purple and pink laces.

A thin yellow band ribbons around the lacing system and frames out the clear and coral quarter panel, with its small, purple-outlined Swoosh. The thick Zoom Air unit in the heel not only dissipates impact on the court but forms a crown-like visual at the heel. The visible Air-Sole heel bubble takes on a clear-aqua tone, while forefoot Air showcases the various colors and textures of the shoe’s inner workings.

The LeBron 19’s outsole swirls pastel pinks, purples, yellows, blues and greens together into a data-generated traction pattern perfect for play on the paint.

James’ signature and crown insignia also cleverly grace the sides of the shoe and the tongue. That pressurized Air bubble on the top of the foot contains a basketball with a Cupid’s arrow through it, with a purple cherub logo kissing the heel counter. The left shoe’s coral insole includes a pink cherub shooting his bow, while the right features an arrow-laden ball arcing toward a hoop — a perfect coupling of graphics.
