No. 21 for the 76ers stands at 7 feet tall, dominates on the court with his lightning-fast plays and was born in Yaoundé, Cameroon. Joel Embiid launched his signature basketball shoes with Under Armour earlier this year, and on November 11, the Under Armour Embiid One sneaker hits shelves in its third colorway –“The Void,” characterized by grey, black and red details. Perfect for basketball players of all stripes, this version of Embiid One will be available in men’s sizes.

To ensure a lightweight, breathable shoe that still retains its structure, Under Armour crafted the “Void” Embiid One with an upper made with open-hole mesh layers and hollowed-out leather molded to the foot’s shape. Prominent TPU support wings add enhanced lateral stability along the sides of the sneaker.

For comfort that doesn’t add unnecessary bulk to this performance shoe, Under Armour employed some of the brand’s best court-tested technology. A die-cut EVA sockliner cradles the foot and bolsters support. The stacked heel composed of HOVR technology works in tandem with the Micro G foam underfoot. Both these features contribute to the bouncy, shock-absorbing abilities of the sneaker.

Under Armour touts this latest sneaker as a shoe made for all five positions on the court, thanks to its flexibility, support and game-long comfort. The underfoot traction pattern depicts Embiid’s journey, through swirling flex grooves, from his native Cameroon to the courts of Kansas and onto the NBA.

A thick ankle collar, generous tongue padding and custom lacing system further the shoe’s luxe details. Heel and tongue tabs adorned with Embiid branding make the shoe easy to pull on or take off.
