Meet Kennedy Moore, a Memphis-born baller whose passion for basketball was bred in the city’s streets. Whether he’s attempting to shoot impossible trick shots for content or trash-talking your favorite team, Kennedy is a true sports enthusiast who lives and breathes the game of basketball and Memphis culture.
“Growing up, on the first day of school you had to have the all-white Air Force 1s. You just had to – it was a rule! Forces were in and all the girls and the guys were wearing them. After we saw the Nelly video for ‘Air Force Ones,’ everybody wanted to play basketball after school with their Air Force 1s. Basketball has always been a huge, important part of the [Memphis] culture.”
