Sneakers Release – Women’s Exclusive Jordan 3 Retro “Dark Mocha” Launching May 15

As the first shoe in the Jordan line to have a visible Nike Air unit in the heel and premium elephant print, the Jordan 3 is one of the most beloved kicks of all time. And now, the Tinker Hatfield design is getting a makeover.

Launching exclusively in women’s sizes on May 14, the Jordan Retro 3 “Dark Mocha” colorway mixes a trio of colors – rich brown, pale pink and creamy ivory – to bring sneakerista and sneakerHERheads a deliciously Neopolitan ice cream-esque package. The color palette is delicate yet bold thanks to its Retro mocha-toned elephant print, powdery pale pink eyestays, and embroidered Jumpan logo on the tongue.

A crisp white leather upper channels the OG styling of the Jordan Retro silhouette. At the toe box and heel, Jordan Brand’s iconic elephant print material in Dark Mocha punctuates the mostly white leather upper. Also on the heel is a white overlay featuring an oversized black Jumpman logo with the word “Air” beneath it.

All-white laces blend into the Retro women’s exclusive shoe’s white tongue, but there are a few light pink eyelets for some nice contrast located at the bottom of the lacing system, near the toe box.

This coloring is continued by an embroidered light pink Jumpman on the tongue. The same light pink appears again on the insole, which features another black Jumpman. A fun bonus accompanying this release is an attached lace keychain featuring a transparent Jumpman outlined in the colorway’s signature pink.

Moving to the midsole, you’ll see the Jordan 3 Retro “Dark Mocha’s” creamy mix of off-white at the forefoot and light pink at the heel. Located directly beneath the pink midsole panel at the heel, the sneaker’s Air unit is visible. Rounding out the bottom of the shoe is a Dark Mocha outsole interrupted by a light pink traction pattern at the forefoot and a bright pink Jordan logo.

With the brown and pink accents throughout, this women’s-only Jordan colorway offers a feminine to an on-court classic. As for styling, try leaning a bit into the Neapolitan ice cream aesthetic by pairing the “Dark Mocha” Jordan 3 with brown or cream cargo joggers pants, and a light pink top.
