In 2022, Hibbett | City Gear teamed up with Wilson to donate more than $6,000 to Autism Speaks, an organization dedicated to promoting solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the lifespan, for the needs of people with autism and their families.
Starting April 1, Hibbett will, for a second consecutive year, launch a profit percentage donation program with Wilson in support of Autism Speaks.
For each “Love the Moment” baseball glove sold, Hibbett will donate 5% of the profits to Autism Speaks through September 1.
Since its founding in 2005, Autism Speaks has contributed to a $3 billion increase in authorized federal research funding for autism, over $9 million in community autism-related grants and scholarships, and helped 18 million+ people receive free autism information and resources through its advocacy, services, research, and partnerships with brands Wilson, who donates more than $150,000 to the organization annually.
