As part of Hibbett | City Gear’s 2021 Back to School season, the casual fashion, streetwear and sneaker retailer hosted a series of barbershop events in several of their Hibbett Sports and City Gear retail locations. Held throughout August and September these “Cutz for Kidz” events provided area students with free haircuts for back to school, as well as the opportunity to receive a free PUMA backpack and school supplies in participating stores.
Many Cutz for Kidz events also featured food and live entertainment for store and event patrons on-site, perpetuating the sense of community and connectivity Hibbett and City Gear locations aim to foster in the neighborhoods they serve.
Though not part of Hibbett | City Gear’s Sole School program, the brand’s largest student-focused giveback program, community events like “Cutz for Kidz” help fulfill Hibbett’s commitment to inspire self-expression toe-to-head — one customer, one customer, one community at a time.
